Paul Flora and the satirical art in the Eccel Kreuzer Collection

Paul Flora (Glorenza/Glurns, June 29, 1922 – Innsbruck, May 15, 2009) is the protagonist of this new exhibition, displaying a selection of satirical works which form part of the larger Eccel Kreuzer Collection. As a caricaturist, draughtsman, illustrator and graphic designer, Flora emerged from his native Glorenza and his talent spread well beyond the national borders, establishing himself as one of the most recognized artists in various fields.

On the occasion of Paul Flora's 100th Anniversary, the Eccel Kreuzer Museum pays tribute to one of South Tyrol's best-known artistic personalities.

Alongside Paul Flora, are works by Fritz v. Herzmanovsky-Orlando, Othmar Winkler, Max Spielmann, Jakob de Chirico, Daniela Chinellato, Laurina Paperina, Federico Lanaro, as well as an unusual and surprising Karl Plattner.
